Dinner At 8 is the Tampa Bay area's “Premier” Dining & Social Club as well as Matchmaking Service FOR SINGLE ADULTS OVER 40 YEARS OLD living in the area.  Our Dining and Social Club strives to bring people together both single adults with similar backgrounds and the desire to make new friends.  All of our members enjoy a whirlwind of activity and an active social life as desired.

We live in the wonderful State of Florida. We come here from all over the country to enjoy everything that Southwest Florida has to offer. Some of us are divorced, widowed and some never married. Many have relocated from other parts of the country and desire to make new friends and share new experiences and in many cases meet that special someone to share our life with.  Some of our clients are looking for marriage.  Whatever our past, we want a future full of fun and promise. We want a life full of activities, good friends and good times. We strive to provide an active, fun and varied social life. Beth and Marc Nielsen are naturally social and make everyone feel at home.  They are active in the beach area and are members of the Seminole Chamber of Commerce.

What we do - We schedule regular “dinner parties” at some of the most interesting and innovative restaurants in the Tampa Bay area.  We also schedule regular “social events” such as cocktail parties, picnics, daytrips, sporting events and even weekend trips and extended vacations.  Our members frequently enjoy the benefit of large "group discounts" and special member promotions.  With the economy the way it is now we know to look for activities that are not costly and will be enjoyed by all.   Many of our events are FREE.   We have activities for the adventurous and not so adventurous.  Whatever your desire, there is something for everyone.  We invite all of our members to attend our dinner parties and extracurricular events.  The goal is  to make new friends, have a fabulous time and make memories We're even planning extended vacations including a cruise and a trip to Europe for our members.

Matching friends and interests - When planning a Dinner, we strive to schedule the same number of women and men at each dinner for our single adult members.  Marc and Beth Nielsen, your hosts of this Social Club , attend all events to make introductions and get things going.  The rest is history!

 Matchmaking Services - We meet our clients personally to discuss our matchmaking services.  We perform an extensive interview and help you decide what you are looking for in a potential "mate" be it someone to date seriously or take it to a more permanent relationship.  This service is designed individually for each client so we ask that you call us at our office at (727) 320-6911 to schedule a personal meeting to discuss our service.  We do not do a "hard sell" sales approach for using our service.  It is important to us that you are as interested in our services and that we can work together to help you meet your ultimate goal.   Our matchmaking services are a wonderful venue for finding a mate.  It's a very "safe" way of dating and we do a criminal background check on all of our matchmaking clients.  Beth and Marc have been told that it's a much more satisfying way of doing things with the personal attention their clients get.  Clients feel much happier than they did with on line dating.  Additionally, Beth and Marc spend a lot of time with their clients and really get to know them so that when they introduce two people they know already that there will be shared interests and the couple can just concentrate on getting to know each other and building from there.  Besides being a safe and very exact way of meeting your mate, it is also an inexpensive way to find that special someone that surpasses internet dating and is highly confidential.  None of your friends or family need to be aware of your use of our service since everything we do is between you and your "matchmaker".  If you think you may be interested in this service please give us a call to schedule a confidential and personal meeting.
